About this piece

Hand-thrown in Puglia, in the shape oil has been kept and poured in for generations. A vessel for the table, not just the pantry — fill it from the bottle and let it do the pouring.

How to use it

Fill it from your LYMANORA bottle and keep it on the table for bread, salads and anything fresh off the hob. The spout gives a fine, controlled pour, so dressing a plate without overdoing it is easy. It's the traditional way a Mediterranean home keeps oil within reach — out on the table, in use, not hidden in a cupboard.

Care

Hand-wash it in warm water and let it dry fully, upside down, before refilling. Keep it away from the hob and out of direct sun, just like the bottle — oil stays at its best cool and dark. When you switch oils, empty it completely before refilling so harvests don't mix.

With LYMANORA oil

Every Collection piece is chosen to sit beside our early-harvest extra virgin olive oil, with acidity down to 0.2%. Order it with the bottle in one go, or give it on its own to someone who already has their favourite oil at home.

Questions

Where is the orcio made?
It's hand-thrown in Puglia, in southern Italy, in the traditional shape oil has been kept and poured from for generations.
Can I keep oil in the orcio all the time?
Yes, for everyday oil. Fill it with what you'll use over a few weeks and keep the rest in the bottle, capped, somewhere cool and dark.
